Named after the local native plant, that is not only a critical host plant for Monarch butterflies, but also attracts and supports a large scope of pollinators and other insects. Native bees, honey bees, butterflies and hummingbirds feed off of the plants high quality nectar. It also feeds monarch butterflies’ caterpillars chemicals that provide them with protection from predators. Plant native plants and help your local pollinators.
